Worship

God is calling us to another level in worship. When he called Abraham to sacrifice his son on mount Moriah, it was certainly another level that He was taking Abraham. Today He wants to do the same for you.

Worship

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called, 19 concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

Hebrews 11:17-19

Two aspects that we can learn in our devotion today and they are to worship God in faith and secondly to surrender everything to Him. Remember we brought nothing into this world and we cannot hold on to anything including our children. When we surrender our lives combined by totally trusting Him he will give you the picture of walking in this realm

When God takes us to this new place of sacrifice, He will reveal to us that He is the provider. We need to realize this concept and the Holy Spirit within us will help us in this process.

Finally we will see His nature unfold in us as we worship Him. His nature is not to exploit us but enjoy the blessing of His provision. His provision to us came through the sacrifice of His son and we bring out our sacrifice just as Abraham brought his son to surrender our worth to Him. We will then enjoy the newness of this blessing.

Let this worship not be confined to a specific place such as a gathering but let it be worship which is in our heart at all times to worship Him. As the psalmist said I will worship the Lord at all times and His praises will continuously be on my lips

Dear Lord,

 All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.  Amen

God bless you,
