Favour of God

 The king said to me, “What is it you want? Then I prayed to the God of heaven, and I answered the king, “If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favour in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my ancestors are buried so that I can rebuild it. ”Then the king with the queen sitting beside him, asked me, “How long will your journey take, and when will you get back?” It pleased the king to send me; so I set a time

Favour with the right people is accomplished when we seek the Lord in faith. We know that faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God because faith is based on the truth of God’s word..

Nehemiah was burdened for his people and prayed in faith according to the truth and the Lord gave him favour with the right people.

Faith with prayer can open many doors. In the case of Nehemiah we see that the door was opened with the right person which opened several other doors which led him to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

Simple lesson for us this morning is that our faith must be based on the truth of His word for us to obtain the  favour of God and man.

Prayer

Dear Lord I thank you for this day. I pray that my faith will grow stronger by knowing the truth and that you will give me connections and the right places to accomplish your will in my life.  Amen
