There is only one secure foundation: a genuine, deep relationship with Jesus Christ, which will carry you through any and all turmoil. No matter what storms are raging all around, you’ll stand firm if you stand on His love.

Love One Another
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
John 13:34-35
Love is a very common word and it is easy to say those three little words “I love you”. However, as God’s children we are called to live our lives as Jesus did, and to love one another. Are we able to do this? The love of God is unconditional and He loves us just as we are. He has picked each one of us up from the miry clay and is teaching us to be more like Him each day.
Therefore it will be good to remind ourselves that love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
We may choose to spend long hours in prayer, quote scriptures and regularly attend church with the desire to grow close to Him, but are we able to overlook an offence without taking revenge?
We need to seek the divine power of God, which give us everything we need for life, through faith in Him. The power of God enables us to love with His love, when our own feelings and emotions hinder us from loving others fully. The Word says that we need to seek Him so that we have this power in increasing measure. By having the power of God in us, we will not be ineffective or unproductive, but have the knowledge of Him and acknowledge His ways and live a life, demonstrating Christ. May we remain and walk in His love.
Dear Lord,
I thank You Lord that You picked me up and have given me a new life. Help me to see others through Your eyes so that I may exercise Your love in every situation. Amen.
God bless you,
